Five Teens Charged for Underage Drinking in Mt. Morris
Livingston County sheriff's deputies arrested five teenagers in connection with another underage drinking party in that county.

Deputies responded to a call Wednesday of a woman screaming in a field off of creek road in the town of Mt. Morris.

When they arrived they discovered a handful of minors drinking.

Deputies say Joseph Layland, 19, of Mt. Morris, invited the teens onto his family property to drink.

Layland faces unlawful possession of alcohol and unlawfully dealing with a child charges.

Deputies also charged Hailey Potter, 19, of Filmore, Holly Davis, 19, of Filmore, Nathan Safford, 19, of Perry, and Nicholas Willey, 18, of Nunda, with possession of alcohol.

All the teens were released to the custody of their parents. They are scheduled to answer to appearance tickets in Mt. Morris Town Court at a later date.
