Judge Says Garcia Evidence Can Be Used in Trial
An Ontario County Court judge has ruled on evidence in the murder case against Frank Garcia.
Garcia is accused of killing four people on Valentine's Day. Friday, Judge Craig Doran ruled a number of pieces of evidence can be used at trial.
Doran says police identification procedures were proper, Garcia's statements and DNA evidence were properly obtained, and evidence was properly collected.
Garcia is charged with the shooting deaths of Kimberly and Chris Glatz in their Canandaigua home as well as the deaths of Mary Silliman and Randal Norman outside of Lakeside Hospital in Brockport.
Garcia's Ontario County trial is scheduled to start August 5.
