Owner of Burned Plaza Looking on the Bright Side

Though it is a helpless feeling for many of the merchants in the plaza that burned Monday on North Clinton Avenue, one businessman is trying to make the best of a bad situation.
Auto Finishers was one of the businesses damaged in the fire that broke out at the Family Dollar Store.
Owner Richard Trovato has moved his entire operation to another store he owns in Gates.
“It was devastating,” said Trovato. “I've been here 41 years. We've owned the plaza for 10. This is our livelihood."
On the plus side, Trovato said all 30 employees who work at the North Clinton operation now work in Gates.
Trovato is the owner of the plaza and he hopes to rebuild.
