The U.S. Small Business Administration ranked M&T Bank the number nine lender to small businesses in the nation.

M&T ranked number one in Rochester, Buffalo, and Baltimore.

For the fiscal year, M&T Bank issued 692 loans as part of the largest Small Business Administration program that provides operating capital to small businesses.
