The Rochester Police officers shot Tuesday night on Driving Park Avenue got support from several members of law enforcement, including someone now well-known in our community.
Officer Anthony DiPonzio arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital to offer his support. DiPonzio was shot in the head January 31 after responding to a call on Dayton Street. He continues to recover from those injuries.
Casey Bortnick spoke with Officer DiPonzio at the hospital.
