Friends, family, and fellow bikers gathered at the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash to remember a loved one.
Raymond Stevens, 38, of Rochester, died Tuesday after his motorcycle struck the side of a van.
The van was turning at the intersection of Cleveland and Putnam streets when the biker was struck. The van continued traveling and was later found by authorities not far from the crash site.
Police are treating the case as a hit and run. Stevens was pronounced dead at Strong Hospital. Four people in the van were treated for minor injuries.
A vigil was held for him at the crash site Wednesday evening.
Pam Stevens, Raymond's wife of 12 years, attended the vigil. She said, "He had a lot of friends and a lot of people that cared about him. A lot of people cared about him."
Stevens also leaves behind three daughters.
Police said possible charges could be filed against the driver of the van.
