Carestream Sells Systems to Native American Health Centers
Rochester's Carestream Health sold medical imaging and image information management systems to two Native American health centers.
The fully featured units have gone to the Muscogee (Creek) and Citizen Potawatomi Nations, which are both located in Oklahoma. Carestream Health says the systems improve staff productivity and efficiency while enhancing patient care.
The purchase moves the Potawatomi facility from film and paper to all digital. The Muscogee purchase of the system gives it its first ever in-house X-ray capabilities. In addition, the system speeds up the receipt of reports from other radiologists.
