Rochester police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night.

Authorities said a 15-year-old was shot in the abdomen just after 10 p.m. on Elba Street, between Cottage Street and Magnolia Street.

He was taken to Strong Hospital with what police said are non-life-threatening injuries.

Rochester police continue to investigate the incident.
