Teen Arraigned in Mosque Harassment Incident
Anthony Ogden
The last of five teenagers accused of harassment at an Orleans County mosque was in court Monday night.
Anthony Ogden was arraigned in Carlton Town Court. His court date was adjourned last week because he could not get a ride to court.
He faces charges of harassment and disrupting a religious service.
Ogden, along with Mark Vendetti, Tim Weader, Dylan Phillips, and Jeff Donahue, are accused of driving past a mosque in Waterport, honking their horns and screaming obscenities as worshippers left a service.
Ogden did not have a lawyer and told the judge he wanted to plead guilty, but the judge urged he reconsider and assigned him a public defender.
