Anyone who is or will be caring for an aging loved one is encouraged to attend a caregiver solution program.
HCR Home Care is hosting three seminars to discuss what's involved with caring for the health and welfare of an aging spouse or parent.
The caregiver solution seminar will feature expert guidance for helping caregivers manage the health, legal, and financial needs of an aging spouse or parents.
They'll discuss options for caring services available which would allow parents to stay in their home, alternative housing options, protecting spouse or parents’ savings specific programs available for veterans, and tips for talking with a spouse or parents about their options.
"Sometimes families have a difficult time talking to their own families so having outside experts come in and do a needs assessment and find out what their preferences are they can go through and address things one by one and offer them services available to them to stay in their home or find assisted living or even a higher level of care," said Tom Richardson of HCR.
The seminars are this Tuesday, December 28th, Thursday, January 6th, and Thursday, January 13th.
