Car buyers were offered a glimpse at the technology behind the Chevy Volt at RIT on Wednesday.
Members of the university as well as representatives from General Motors were on hand to give demonstrations on the new Volt.
The Volt has been in development over the last five years and has been on the market for about five months now.
“The cars are volume driven. In terms of their demand, we can't keep up with the number of requests we have, so every vehicle that is being built is being sold,” said Daniel O’Connell, director of global field services for GM.
The seminar also discussed the role RIT has in the research and development of the car with General Motors.
