Recycled Bags For Sale at the Greentopia Festival

The Greentopia Festival kicked off in the Upper Falls Saturday.
YNN's Sheba Clarke spoke with Asheley Cellura, the co-founder of EvenOdd Creative. EvenOdd Creative is one of the 120 vendors that has a booth set up at the Greentopia Festival
Cellura said they make bags out of recycled goods. She said they construct laptop sleeves, wallets, messenger bags, and other various accessories.
All the materials used are from recycled or up-cycled goods. For instance, on the messenger bag the straps are recycled seatbelts, the front is made out of recycled vinyl banners and billboards, and the edging is made out of bike inner tubes. All the materials come from local companies.
"We made it so there's a range of different types of products. We range from the lowest bag I think starts around $30 up to about $90-$100, so we have a product for every type of person," Cellura told YNN.
The festival runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
