Police say a 27-year old Rochester man was headed east on W. Ridge Rd. when witnesses told police he did a wheelie. Police say he lost control of the bike and hit a curb.

Technicians are still trying to determine if he may have also hit a pole. Officers say the man was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

No one else was involved or hurt.
