Woman Indicted for Assault by a Child Daycare Provider
The Monroe County District Attorney's Office said an infant involved in a reckless endangerment case against a daycare provider in Greece suffered serious physical injury.
Police in Greece charged Tina Sardisco, also known as Tina Switkowski, 29, with one count of reckless assault of a child and reckless assault by a child day care provider.
The District Attorney's Office said the incident happened in June at Sardisco's house when the infant was seven months old.
The D.A.'s Office did not specify how the infant was injured but said the infant suffered brain damage.
Sardisco is a home daycare provider but did not meet the requirement to be licensed.
