State police tried to stop a vehicle swerving on Route 5 in Pembroke. When the vehicle did not stop, a short police pursuit ensued.

The chase ended when the truck crashed into a tree in someone's front yard.

The driver and the passenger in the vehicle were taken to ECMC with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
