A local non-profit dedicated to taking military veterans to the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. held one of its annual fundraiser Saturday night.
Honor Flight held its third annual benefit concert at Aquinas Institute. The Prime Time Brass Band was the headliner along with other acts entertaining the audience.
Honor Flight flies veterans to our nation's capital for a free to visit the memorial built in their
honor. About a thousand local veterans have taken advantage of the service so far. Six flights are scheduled for 2012 beginning in April.
