Parole was denied for a former sergeant with the Greece Police Department convicted of drunk driving, speeding, and causing a car accident on Route 390 in 2008.

Nick Joseph is currently serving a two to seven year sentence at the Clinton Correctional Facility. A judge found Joseph guilty of seven charges for ingesting cocaine, drinking and driving, speeding, and then striking the back of a car stalled in the left lane of Route 390. A pregnant woman in car at the time of the crash went into premature labor.

Joseph's attorney argued he suffered a concussion the night of the accident and did not remember anything.

Joseph will be eligible for parole again in January of 2014.
