Abdul-Jaleel Jury Selection Begins
Jury selection is underway for a Henrietta teen accused of attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his 13-year-old cousin.
According to deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, 16-year-old Faheem Abdul-Jaleel claimed he acted in self-defense after being attacked by his cousin, Samina Quasim.
Police say on June 20th, 2011, they got into an argument and Abdul-Jaleel allegedly stabbed Quasim in the garage of a Myrtlewood Drive apartment complex in Henrietta.
Police say Quasim was stabbed several times in the upper torso and spent several months in the hospital.
