Rochester police say a fight lead to one person being stabbed on St. Paul Street early Monday morning.

Police say a 21-year-old man was stabbed several times in the torso during a fight in front of 151 St. Paul Street. Police say several witnesses brought the victim back inside the building before emergency crews arrived. The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

"It looks like the fight actually happened right here on the street itself, we're still trying to confirm everything. We're checking with cameras and everything in the area. Once we find more we'll be able to have the specifics but right now it appears the the fight happened on the street," said Rochester Police Lt. Scott Peters.

Police have no suspects at this time, and they are continuing to investigate the incident.
