Some noticable changes are taking place at the I-Square project site in Irondequoit. Demolition of some of the vacant buildings has begun at the location.
The developer of "I-Square", Mike Nolan, says his seven building project, consisting of residential and commercial town square development, will provide the missing link in Irondequoit once it is built.
The first phase of the project includes the first building, parking, and extending Union Park Road.
Road construction is expected to begin later in April, with building construction beginning in late summer.
