The victim was found around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Smith Street and Grape Street, just around the corner from Sahlen's Stadium.

Investigators say the victim is a 26-year-old African American man. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

"Right now, we're just continuing our investigation by knocking on doors, talking to people. Trying to find out what took place regarding the incident," said Captain Ray Dearcop of the Rochester Police Department.

Police do not have any suspects in custody but are following several leads.
