Rochester Police believe a fight after a dice game may have lead to the shooting of two brothers Tuesday. One of the brothers died from his injuries.
Officers were called to Jay and Saxton streets around 7:45 p.m and found the brothers in an abandoned lot with gunshot wounds. One of the brothers, Robert Vinson, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. His 23-year-old brother, Devon Vison, was shot in the lower back. He was taken to Strong Hospital where he remains listed in satisfactory condition.
Police said the two brothers were in the vicinity of a dice game on nearby Smith Street when a fight broke out. Investigators said the two left the fight and some unknown suspects followed them and shot them.
No arrests have been made.
