Hospital officials say this affiliation enables the two health systems to continue to use and share their resources to best meet the health care needs of both the Rochester and Finger Lakes regions.

The shared resources include many medical and surgical specialities, including cardiology, neurosurgery, oncology, and imaging.

The parent corporation, Thompson Health, will remain intact and continue to operate under the guidance and leadership of its existing board of directors.
