Rochester police investigators were back on the scene Saturday morning of a fatal shooting in the city Friday night.

Rochester police say they responded to multiple calls of a shooting at the intersection of Grace and North streets just before 10:30 p.m. Friday.

Responding officers say they found the 27-year-old shooting victim on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Family members identify the victim as Keith Bryant, 27.

Police say a black male suspect was seen fleeing the scene.

YNN spoke with the owner of a store near the scene who says he heard the shots and called 911. He says its important that people tell police all the information they know.

"It's crazy what happened last night out there ya know. Somebody gets shot and nobody wants to say anything or do anything about it. We gotta do it. Not the police. We can't just think that the police is gonna do everything, that the police is just gonna do everything. We gotta change ourself first, for Rochester to be changed," said Asem Mugalli, store owner.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department.
