Local Woman's Medical Story on National Program
A local woman's medical story will be featured on a national cable channel program tonight.
We met Jamie Arliss of Clyde last year. The nurse learned she had a tumor growing in her heart that diverted blood away from that vital organ.
When Arliss' cardiologist teamed up with a neurosurgeon, they injected a medical superglue called "Onyx" into the mass to stop the blood flow. Onyx is usually used on brain tumors.
The episode of "Diagnosis: Dead or Alive" featuring Jamie Arliss will air on the Discovery Fit & Health Channel at ten o'clock Monday night.
