Fire Causes Temporary Evacuation of Apartment Complex
Some residents at a Rochester apartment complex had to temporarily evacuate their apartments after a fire broke out early Thursday morning. It happened at the Colony Apartments on Lake Avenue around 2:30 a.m.
The Rochester Fire Department says the fire started inside a second floor apartment at the large complex.
Firefighters extinguished the small fire and were able to contain the damage to the one apartment.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
