Victim of Deadly Shooting Identified

Police are investigating a homicide on the city's north east side.
Officers responded to Carl Street for the report of shots fired around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police found 24-year old James Florence lying in the street with several gunshot wounds to the torso. He was taken to Rochester General Hospital, where he later died.
Police tell YNN that they do not know what led to the confrontation, but said Florence is known to them.
Investigators are checking surveillance cameras in the neighborhood and questioning residents.
There are no suspects at this time.
