Motorcycle Collides with Cop Car
Rochester police are investigating an accident involving one of their own patrol cars.

At 11:30 Friday night, police say a motorcycle driving northbound on Scio Street collided with the eastbound Rochester Police car at the intersection of University Avenue.

The 45-year-old driver of the motorcycle suffered a broken ankle and the passenger suffered scrapes and bruises. They were both taken to Strong Hospital.

Police say charges against the motorcycle rider are pending. The officer driving the car was not injured.
