A 21-year-old is recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital after he was shot in the thigh Sunday night.

Rochester Police say they received a phone call around nine o'clock saying a man with possible gunshot wounds was being loaded into a dark SUV at the intersection of Walter Park and Flint Street.

Shortly after he arrived at Strong.

Police say his injuries are non life-threatening.

After finding several casings police believe the crime took place on Shelter Street.

Police say no one has been arrested.
