Medina Memorial Hospital Union Members Vote on Contract
Union members at Medina Memorial Hospital in Orleans County are scheduled to vote on a contract Thursday.
The tentative agreement ends seven months of negotiations.
Staff at Medina Memorial have been working without a new labor contract since January 1st.
The new agreement if approved would be retroactive to that date.
Employee and management negotiating committees reached a tentative agreement last week.
Details of the settlement will be released to the public after union members vote.
The union contract covers 325 employees who work as registered nurses licensed practical nurses medical technicians and service and maintenance.
