Stop Sign Ends up in House Following Crash
A stop sign ended up lodged in the side of a house following a crash in the city late Friday night.
Rochester police were called to the corner of North and Manchester streets around 10:45 p.m.
Investigators say a car was speeding down Kosciusko Street when it went through a stop sign and hit a telephone poll. The stop sign ended up lodged in a nearby home.
Police say charges are pending against the driver.
The driver's name has not been released, but police say it is a man in his 20s. He was not injured in the crash.
