Six adults and one child were left homeless by a late night apartment house fire on Rochester's north side.
City firefighters were called to the multiple family home at 313 Ridgeway Avenue around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Because of the size of the building, extra manpower was called in to help with the search of the building.
Everyone inside the house made it out safely.
Investigators say the fire was started by food left on a stove in one of the three apartments.
The Red Cross is helping the victims with temporary housing and food.
