A Central New York man has pleaded not guilty to charges that he had sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy in a Henrietta hotel.
Taha Alashwal, 34, was arraigned Tuesday morning in State Supreme Court.
Police say he befriended the boy before taking him to the hotel.
Alashwal remains free on $25,000 bail after pleading not guilty to two counts of criminal sex act.
Monroe County Sheriffs say Alashwal is facing similar charges in the Syracuse area for allegedly having sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy, though he has not been indicted on those charges.
He is due back in court on August 7th.
