Wineries, breweries and restaurants are getting ready for next week's annual Finger Lakes Riesling Festival in Canandaigua.
The two-day event will welcome thousands of visitors to the "Chosen Spot" along Lakeshore Drive.
"What you can expect is a mile of family fun," said Howie Jacobson, festival organizer. "There's no festival like this anywhere in the Finger Lakes."
From 10:00-5:00 Saturday, August 11, and 12:00-5:00 Sunday, August 12.
People can expect to experience live music, food, wine and microbrews.
Twenty wineries will be pouring award winning riesling. The festival is free. The Wine Garden is $20. You will receive a Wegmans wine tote, wine glass and beer sampling glass.
