Girl Injured Falling From Second Floor Window
The parents of a young girl are facing endangerment charges after she fell from a second floor window. It happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday on Rochester's north side.
Police say a four-year-old girl was home alone when she fell from a second floor window. She suffered a broken femur, and possible spleen damage.
Her parents, 35-year-old Kindalem Gurmu and 22-year-old Hana Baye are charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say Gurmu drove Baye to work and came home to find the child lying on the ground.
The girl is being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital.
