No Injuries When Brick Facade Falls Off Building

Bricks rained down on a Rochester city sidewalk Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at the building on the corner of Merchants Road and Spencer Street shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday. Parts of the building's brick facade along the roof peeled off and fell.
Witnesses inside Be Blessed, a barber shop on the building's first floor, say they've never experienced anything like it.
"All of a sudden, bricks started falling. Smoke came up out of nowhere. It happened real fast. Shook the building and everything. It was pretty nerve-wracking," said Devon Morris.
Morris says no one was beneath the bricks when they fell.
