The family of a motorcyclist killed in July held a benefit for him on Sunday.
Anthony Steimer, Jr. was killed July 2nd when a vehicle crossed four lanes of traffic and hit him on his motorcycle on Empire Boulevard.
The family held the benefit at Daisy Dukes Sunday in Webster to encourage drivers to pay attention to motorcycles on the road.
"Pay attention. Its a great thing to have a benefit and have everybody come together to support us. It's a great thing, and I am very very thankful for everybody that's helped, but at the same time we shouldn't have to have them if people are paying attention," says Brandy Randall, Steimer's sister.
The family expected more than a thousand people to attend the benefit.
