Rural-Metro paramedics responded to a shooting on Rochester's northeast side Saturday morning shortly after 2 o'clock.

An ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics treated a man in his 20s at the scene after he was shot in the leg.

The man has been taken to Strong Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Rochester police say he was shot in the leg.

They continue to investigate the incident.
