Tanning Salon Robber Sentenced
A man who admitted his involvement in a string of robberies at tanning salons in Irondequoit, Rochester, Greece and Brighton is headed to prison.
Jacob Buchanan was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years in state prison and five years post-release.
Police say Buchanan and his girlfriend Sarah Cushman robbed six tanning salons between December 7th and December 23rd.
Buchanan's brother, Jeffery, was also arrested in connection with the robberies. Cushman and Jeffery Buchanan are awaiting trial.
