More than 845,000 people attended the year. That's actually down from 2011.

From rides, to exhibits, vendors and musical acts; the 12 day event closed with strong attendance numbers this holiday weekend.

Despite above average crowds the last three days, 70,000 fewer people passed through the gates this year. Some vendors say the crowds were down due to fewer acts performing in the Grandstand this year.
