Livonia Students to Start in New Building Post Fire
Fourth and fifth graders in the Livonia Central School District will start the school year in a different building after a fire earlier in the summer damaged some classrooms.
Superintendent Scott Bischoping says the students will be placed in the Connell Building, which once served as a school building, until renovations are complete.
More recently the Connell Building was used for administration.
The displacement will not cause any delays in the start of the school year which begins tomorrow.
Officials expect the renovations to be done by the middle of November.
