Man Allegedly Caught With $1,200 in Counterfeit Bills at Darien Lake
GENESEE COUNTY, N.Y. — A Buffalo man was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly tried to use counterfeit money at a local theme park, and then tried to eat some of the evidence.

According to Genesee County Sheriff's deputies, 35-year-old Larry Jones was at the Darien Lake theme park and tried to buy french fries with a fake fifty dollar bill.

When he was caught, police said he tried stuffing five bills into his mouth to destroy them.

He was found to have nearly $1,200 of counterfeit bills in his possession.

He's been charged with forgery and tampering with evidence.
