Arrest in 2004 Henrietta Hotel Murder
Police announced an arrest Thursday night in an eight-year-old murder case.
On August 2, 2004, 33-year-old Paul Pelletier of Rochester was shot and killed at the Comfort Suites hotel in Henrietta.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, 56-year-old Michael Baccari of Rochester was arrested on Wednesday evening.
Police said on the night of Pelletier's death, he was working as a night auditor at the hotel. Deputies responded to the hotel around 3:10 a.m. for a reported stabbing. A worker from another hotel found Pelletier lying on the floor near the front desk.
Police said Baccari was taken to the Monroe County Jail without bail.
