Severe thunderstorms moved through the area Saturday causing many to lose power for several hours.

The storm brought with it heavy winds and lightning. Rochester Gas and Electric reported thousands of customers without power at the height of the storm. There were also reports of downed power lines, and tree limbs on many roadways, so be careful and watch out for any debris.
