Women were able to take advantage of free health screenings Saturday during the fourth annual Women's health fair at the public market.

Women from ages 18 to 80 could get information and learn more from over two hundred doctors and nurses who specialize in women's health. Organizers say the event has grown significantly over the last several years to address more than 20 different areas of women's health.

"We are addressing all of the major areas, cardiac, diabetes, kidney disease, breast health, bone health, and then we have a number of other areas, such as ask the OBGYN, ask the primary care doctor, because there are alot of questions that people have about health and this gives them a perfect opportunity to come to the public market to get the nutrients and food and to get health as well," says Dr. Jim Woods, Chairman of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Rochester.

The health fair was sponsored by the city and the University of Rochester.
