Guests came dressed in white to experience a variety of music, food, drinks and surprises. The event raised money and awareness for AIDS Care following a theme that has been successful in cities such as Paris and New York.
"The good part of this is that, the money raised tonight helps support our AIDS research program in a couple areas. One is the HIV vaccine trials. The other is an initiative that is just emerging in HIV research, which involves getting HIV out of the body - the possibility of a cure," says Dr. William Valenti, Honorary Chair of The White Party.
AIDS Care provides comprehensive medical care and supportive services in a welcoming environment. Event organizers say the event had a theme of white because the color represents purity, beauty and elegance.
