Police Investigate Separate Shootings
Rochester police are searching for suspects in two different shootings Sunday night.

Police say a 20-year old city man was shot on Lime Street about 9:30. He was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital, we don't yet know how badly he's injured.

Police are investigating the shooting as a possible attempted robbery.

About a half hour earlier police were at another shooting on Saratoga Avenue.

Police say it started on nearby Masseth Street when 18-year-old Vincent Davis and another male were involved in an argument in front of 72 Masseth St.

Police say Davis physically assaulted the man with a handgun and then fired the gun at him. The victim then returned fire.

Police say Davis fled the location and was found later on Saratoga Avenue with gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.

Davis faces burglary and assault charges.

Police do not believe it is connected to the shooting on Lime Street.
