Teachers Strike for Former Rochester Superintendent
There is no class for students in the nation's third largest school district this morning.
Former Rochester superintendent Jean-Claude Brizard is CEO of public schools in Chicago,
where the Teachers Union says its members are going on strike.
The union's president says there has been progress in contract talks, but not enough.
Brizard's boss, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, calls the strike "unnecessary" and unfair to the city's children.
