Three people are charged in connection with an armed robbery at a home in Henrietta. Authorities say it happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, one of the residents in the home, located on Vollmer Parkway, called police saying that four men broke into the house with shotguns.
The resident told police that the suspects entered through an unlocked door and made the four people inside the home lay down on the floor. The person who lives there, said the suspects then robbed the home, and left. No one was injured.
Eighteen-year-old Kathryn Smith and 20-year-old Torin Hudson, both of Brighton; and 21-year-old Brenton Christian, who police say is homeless, are all charged with burglary and robbery.
Smith, Hudson, and Christian were sent to the county jail with bail set at $30,000 cash or $60,000 bond. A preliminary court hearing is scheduled for Friday afternoon.

Joe DeVito lives two doors down. He says the house is a rental property to college students.
"I am absolutely just blown away that is crazy to think that happens in a neighborhood like this down the street – or two houses down. That is scary, I came outside and there was ten cop cars outside with police dogs looking for someone running. That does not happen around here so we knew something big was going on," DeVito said.
