Police arrested 21-year-old Kesean McKenzie-Smith and charged him with attempted robbery and second degree murder.

"We had a nice celebration, a home-going for him today," said Denise Seymour, Bradley's aunt.

Even though Montre Bradley has been laid to rest in Falls Cemetery...

My dad still calls his name as if he was here, ya know, it's still fresh."

His family still feels his prescence in their home.

"I still can't really believe it."

Kesean McKenzie-Smith and William Wilkins have both been charged with attempted robbery and murder in connection with Bradley's death.

"Both engaged in trying to rob these people and because of that Montre Bradley is dead," said Chief David DiCaro of the Gates Police Department.

Bradley was standing in line to purchase a new pair of sneakers outside the Street Game shoe store in Gates.

"If it wasn't there it would be somewhere else and that was what was additionally driving us to catch them," DiCaro said.

The arrests have brought some comfort.

"I'm excited, I'm happy. It brings us some closure, I just pray for the other young people," said Denise.

She says three families have lost their children because of the shooting.

"Over whatever you tried to take from my nephew, you have to send the rest of your life in jail."

Denise remembers when her nephew came to her when he was 13-years old, wanting to change his life.

"He said he wanted people to believe in him."

Bradley graduated high school, got a culinary job at Strong Hospital, and was planning to attend MCC in the fall.

"Five years of him being in Rochester, he accomplished everything he had set out to do."

McKenzie-Smith and Wilkins are being held in the Monroe County Jail. McKenzie-Smith was denied bail Monday and wil appear in court Friday morning.
